His mother, Lori Anne, was an aesthetician who also ran a daycare from their home, and his father, David Butler, is a real estate appraiser. He has an older sister named Ashley. His parents divorced amicably when he was seven years old. Butler’s mother passed away from cancer in 2014, an event that deeply affected him.
At the age of thirteen, Butler was approached by a representative from a background-acting management company at the Orange County Fair, which sparked his interest in the entertainment industry.
